2018 CRIRE PACKING AND MOVING OUT OF BUNKS

THURSDAY, 12/20/2019

TODAY WE WILL BE HAVE BREAKFAST AS NORMAL THEN ON OUR WAY TO COSTA RICA TO MEET OUR AIR FLIGHTS ON FRIDAY.  ALONG THE WAY WE WILL OBSERVE THE BEACH AND HAVE LUNCH AS HIGHLIGHT OF OUR TRIP FOR THE DAY.

2018 CRIRE PRESENTATION DAY

Wednesday, 12/19/2018

Today, I practice for my presentation to sell my product.  I believe our customers wanted more on Cecropia species and other tropical species and data.  In virtual reality I sold out on Cecropia species, my day was successful and the tropical rain complimented the teams hard work.
Presentation begin at 10:00am to 3:30pm.  There were eleven  presentation.  The director, coordinator mentor were present and great appreciation to their organization.

2018 CRIRE COMPLETE MANIPULATION FOR RESULTS AND CONCLUSIONS

TUESDAY, 12/18/2018

ALL NOTE OF OBSERVATION AND GRIDS OF SPECIES WERE COMPILED SPECIFIC COORDINATE, ELEVATION, TEMPERATURE AND TIME ALONG GEOGRAPHICAL INPUT TO THE MAP.  CALCULATION OF DATA COLLECTED OF OUR FOUR SPECIES WERE PLACED INTO GRIDS AND ELABORATED AND INPUT INTO PERSPECTIVE TO SHOW THE ORGANIZATION OF OUR RESEARCH ON PAPER.  THE TEAMS PAPER AND INFORMATION TO COMPLETE ASSESSMENT OF CECROPIA WAS DRAFT AND READ AND REVIEWED BY MENTOR AND PROGRAM DIRECTOR.

THIS READ AND REVIEW WAS ASSESSED BY SCOTT, JESSICA AND THEIR TEAM.  HERE, 2018 CRIRE TEAM LEADER INPUT THE CORRECTION NECESSARY FOR TASTY PUBLISHED POSTER ON OUR RESEARCH.

THIS EVENING OUR TEAM SUBMITTED OUR RESEARCH POSTER.  RESEARCH WAS READ AND REVIEWED.AND SUBMITTED TO THE TEAM LEADER. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.

2018 CRIRE OBSERVATION OF FIELD REQUIRED COORDINATES AND OTHER FACTS

Monday, 12/17/2018

Collected Resource to input for to support observation and description and purpose of subject species being studied.  Our other data complete to support Landsat were being review and processed to be compatible.
Material and observation plus factors to support the stance of species existence on the abandon land was gradually being put into perspective. This required more search for resources and manipulating calculation of data observation and data collelction of Cecropia species found in the open area of the abandoned land area.

Sunday, 12/16/2018

Agenda noted it was a relax day but all meal time are always set in stone.  Today I went out into the field with another team member, who assist me in sampling specific species were studying on the abandon land area.
Question I had were about the about the subjects chosen for research which I described as purple flower, red fruit plant, and tree like "Guayaba and Quarmo" which were given explanation by indigenous medicinal botanist.

One other question that stuck in my mind had been:  Are any of these species in other areas beside this abandon land area.  How far apart are these same species that were being reviewed for study.  Eventually we came to the Rio Java.  While were sitting on the bank rock some cattle showed up.
According to the medicinal botanist he noted that the purple flowers being studied is harmful to cattle's indigestion.  This particular flowers did not agree with indigestion of the cow.

2018 CRIRE MORE DATA COLLECTED FOR RESEARCH

Saturday, 12/15/2018

Reminder, yesterday our team request for lunch sacks for our field observation day.  Of course. we have breakfast on time which always include rice, beans and eggs with coffee, juice and water.

Today, more data was received in the field.  We learned that medicinal plans and abundant of species occupied that area which is not tended to by grounds keep.

I observed the area was crowded with too many plant species.  The ground was damp and wet so if I were a plant species near the soil I would suffocated due to less oxygen and no photosynthesis.
Members of the Ngobe were very helpful in what they knew about the plants and willing to share.    The knowledge of plant species was very to our research and observation of questionable ideas and all together the history bank they carry with them.

2018 CRIRE GROUNDWORK IN THE FIELD

FRIDAY, 12/14/2018

Today, I entered the grounds of the biological station to search for abandon land area where species may be effected by species on the abandon land area.  We covered grounds up to about 1mile over and back.  The terrain of these trails are rugged and require water proof boots.  Once off the trail, a machetti is needed to provide trail ways for the team.

So, our objective for today is to observe and gather data for our research to find out if there is regrowth on the land area.  This land are we chose was once used for farming cattle in the 1940's.
Observation, notes and asking many question with members of Ngobe Indigenous Group was very needed and helpful to complete the objectives for today.
